CPGPS and The Forum
The International Association of Chinese Professionals in Global Positioning Systems (CPGPS) is a professional and non-profit organization. It promotes professional developments, fosters and develops cooperation, and promotes the exchange of information, knowledge, scientific research and applications of satellite positioning systems among professionals in the field of satellite navigation and positioning.
Many CPGPS members are highly respected experts in satellite positioning and working in leading academic institutions, government agencies and industry sections worldwide. Its members are very active in the international frontiers of research and innovation and have made significant contributions to the international communities through their professional activities. The Journal of GPS is the offical journal of CPGPS.
The first CPGPS Youth Forum was successfully held in Beijing in 2004 and it was agreed that a regular forum would be held to establish a platform for CPGPS members all over the world to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and discuss hot topics and emerging issues in GNSS. The forum provides a good opportunity to gather international experts together to discuss new opportunities and challenges associated with the states of the development of GNSS, particularly new developments in Europe and Asia.
The theme of the conference is “The next generation GNSS — Innovation and Applications” and it calls for a wide range of topics on new concepts, technologies, solutions and applications to enrich the future development of GNSS. The meeting will also make a unique forum that links China and the world.
